What is Iris?

Iris is a native macOS interface to ChatGPT, designed to be ready when you need it and invisible when you don’t. It allows users to talk to Iris from any app, quickly snap images to discuss anything on their screen, and stay in flow by slinging Iris to either side of the screen. It is powered by the latest models and offers features like no rate limits, natural gestures, simple keyboard shortcuts, and the ability to interject mid-response. Iris also supports Markdown and code display with syntax highlighting.


How to use Iris?

Use natural gestures like swiping to open, close, and sling Iris. Double tap ⌥ to open/close Iris. Press ⌥ + Tab to sling. Use ⌘+⇧+1 to capture your screen. Send messages to Iris at any time, even before it finishes responding.
